Dr. Christian Bélisle is a family physician and the founder of the Médicym Clinics. With more than 25 years of medical practice, including 18 years working in emergency departments, he brings strong clinical expertise and a compassionate, patient-centered vision of healthcare.

Throughout his career, Dr. Bélisle has managed a wide range of medical cases, particularly in emergency medicine, allowing him to develop a rapid, efficient, and patient-focused approach to care. Through the Médicym Clinics, Dr. Bélisle sought to create a modern, accessible healthcare environment dedicated to delivering high-quality medical services to the community of Blainville and surrounding areas.

Although he is not currently accepting new patients for consultations, Dr. Bélisle plays a central role in the development, medical supervision, and coordination of clinical services. His expertise continues to guide the medical team in providing comprehensive care tailored to the needs of each patient.

Dr. Bélisle actively contributes to mentoring and supporting the medical team, ensuring a professional, safe, and high-quality care experience for every patient.

A nursing graduate from the Université du Québec en Outaouais, Mr. Pascal Huberdeau has been practicing in critical care and pediatric care since 2008.

With a desire to advance further in his profession, in 2019 he completed an advanced graduate training in nursing and medical sciences to obtain the title of primary health care nurse practitioners (PCNP).

For him, advanced nursing practice is an important benefit for customers, as it enables greater accessibility to healthcare and services while fostering health promotion and disease prevention strategies.

As a PCNP, he is committed to providing quality care with a personalized approach to each patient, while building a relationship of partnership and trust.

Mr. Huberdeau offers annual follow-ups for all ages, and has a keen interest in emergency care, minor surgery, men’s and seniors’ health, and pediatrics.

Fully committed to his profession, he has also secured the position of Director of Nursing for the clinic since fall 2023.

His proactive personality, sense of leadership and professionalism with the clinic since 2021 make him a major asset to the entire team.

Graduated from Laval University in 2008, Dr. Annick Emond completed her residency in family medicine in 2010. Since then, she has worked for 12 years at CISSS de la Côte-Nord, where she developed a wide-ranging expertise in diverse areas of care: emergency medicine, family medicine group (FMG) patient follow-ups including mental health, prenatal and pediatric care, palliative care, youth clinic, and minor surgery.

Dr. Emond has several areas of interest, offering a diverse range of services: annual check-ups for all age groups, mental health care, urgent appointments, minor surgeries, and musculoskeletal injections. She provides personalized and tailored care to each patient with rigor and professionalism.

She is delighted to have been part of the Médicym team since 2022.

Graduating from the Université du Québec en Outaouais with a degree in Nursing, Ms. Julie Branchaud has accumulated over 10 years of experience in perinatal care, general healthcare, and particularly in cardiology.

Passionate about her profession and eager to advance further, she completed an advanced graduate program in Nursing and Medical Sciences in 2023, earning the title of Specialized Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care (PCNP).

Over the years, she has developed a particular interest in women’s health, sexual health, pediatric care, and chronic diseases.

Ms. Branchaud practices her profession with dedication and empathy, providing patient-centered care. She will greet you with enthusiasm and work in partnership with you to optimize your health.

We are very pleased to have welcomed her to the Médicym team in 2023.

Graduating from the Université de Montréal over thirty years ago, Dr. Linda Delorme is a cornerstone of the Médicym clinic.

Dr. Delorme has worked in various healthcare settings, including Family Medicine Groups (FMG), Local Community Service Centers (LCSC), Long-Term Care Facilities (LTCH), and the military. She has developed a diverse expertise, enabling her to provide tailored healthcare to her patients.

As a family doctor with a strong interest in mental health, she offers exceptional medical follow-ups with empathy and dedication to each patient. Her areas of interest include ADHD (in both adults and children), common mental health issues, women’s health, annual follow-ups for chronic diseases, and care for patients of all ages.

We are grateful to have Dr. Delorme at Médicym since 2012.

Academic and Professional Background

After earning his bachelor’s degree in physical Activity in 1987, Dr. Houde pursued his studies in Family Medicine at Université Laval, completing his residency in 1993. He then practiced at a hospital center in Côte-Nord before obtaining his specialty in Emergency Medicine (CCFP-MU) in 2000, working exclusively at universities trauma centers for 20 years.

His outstanding contribution to family medicine earned him Fellowship status from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (FCFP) in 2004, a distinction reflecting his dedication to his patients and the medical community. In 2009, he achieved independent practitioner status in ultrasound, expanding his expertise. In 2012, advanced training in aeromedical transport in England enabled him to conduct numerous patient transfers to specialized centers in Europe and the United States.

Teaching and Humanitarian Engagement

Dr. Houde has shared his expertise by teaching emergency medicine residents, focusing on essential aspects such as advanced cardiac and pediatric care, trauma, ultrasound, and difficult intubations. Alongside his clinical practice, he has dedicated time to humanitarian missions abroad, enhancing healthcare in underserved regions.

Through organizations like the Red Cross and Training without Borders, he has provided assistance in Syrian refugee camps and participated in medical training programs in several countries including Morocco, Jordan, Sudan, Egypt, Eritrea, and others.

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Expertise

Continually striving to refine his skills, Dr. Houde completed extensive training in musculoskeletal ultrasound in the United States and Canada in 2019. For over four years, he has been providing ultrasound-guided infiltration services, ensuring superior quality care for his patients.

Dr. Alain Houde is dedicated to meeting your medical needs, whether for medical emergencies, sports medicine evaluations, or musculoskeletal ultrasounds (infiltration and PRP). He looks forward to meeting you.

Graduating from the Université du Québec en Outaouais with a degree in Nursing, Ms. Caroline Labrosse specialized in obstetric care in a hospital setting in 2009. She subsequently worked in the community within a multidisciplinary perinatal and early childhood team.

To further her knowledge and expertise, she completed her Master’s degree in Nursing and a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice Nursing – Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (PCNP) profile in 2020.

Ms. Labrosse provides continuous care for patients of all ages, with particular interests in women’s health, menopause, hormone therapy, geriatrics, pediatrics, and pregnancy follow-ups.

In addition to her clinical activities, she integrates her skills in education, consultation, and interprofessional collaboration into her professional practice.

She is dedicated to listening to your concerns and providing high-quality healthcare. We are delighted to have her join the Médicym team in 2023.
